We are looking for an experienced Senior Windows Administrator (m/f/d) with extensive expertise in the installation, configuration and management of Windows server infrastructures. The ideal candidate will have advanced knowledge of network security, extensive experience with the latest Windows server versions and be able to develop and implement innovative solutions to complex systems engineering problems in a rapidly changing IT environment.
Your new area of responsibility
- Design and administration of Windows server environments
- Planning and / or operation of data center infrastructures
- Planning and operation of automation solutions for client and server environments
- Migration from on-prem solutions to cloud solutions
Which Technologies Are Used
- Windows server versions such as Windows Server 2019 & Windows Server 2022
- Scripts are created using PowerShell or other languages
- Data is stored in Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle DBs
- Solutions such as SharePoint, Exchange(Online), or SQL Server are also used
- Automation in administration is carried out using Microsoft SCCM, Intune, Ansible, or similar solutions
- For virtualization, we rely on Hyper-V and VMware
- Since not everything runs OnPrem, Cloud solutions like Azure are also used
What We Expect
- Data protection and data security are a basic requirement for you when setting up and operating IT environments
- You have been managing IT environments for at least five years
- Ideally, you can demonstrate your expertise with various Microsoft certifications
- IT is not a one-man show You can express yourself clearly and communicate (without stepping on anyone’s toes)
- System updates are a daily occurrence, so continuous training is a matter of course for you
- Exciting projects are not always in the immediate vicinity, so traveling is no problem for you
- Very good knowledge of German (at least C1), knowledge of English is an advantage
