We are looking for an experienced Senior Linux Administrator (m/f/d) who has extensive expertise in the installation, configuration and management of Linux server landscapes. The ideal candidate will have advanced knowledge of network security, in-depth experience with various Linux distributions and the ability to design and implement innovative and efficient solution strategies for complex system challenges in a rapidly changing IT landscape.
Your new area of responsibility
- Operation and maintenance of Linux/UNIX systems (OnPrem / Cloud)
- Design and administration of complex IT infrastructures
- Automation of administration and processes through scripting
- Virtualization and automation of IT environments
- (Partial) project management
Which Technologies Are Used
- Linuxsysteme wie RedHat, SLES und Debian
- Automatisierungen werden durchgeführt mit Ansible, Puppet und Scripting
- Monitoring Aufgaben werden mit Nagios, CheckMK und anderen Tools erledigt
- Ohne Netzwerklösungen wie Loadbalancer, Firewalls und vergleichbares sind alles nur einzelnen Systeme, daher kennen sie auch diese
- Als Containerlösungen werden Lösungen wie Kubernetes und Docker eingesetzt
- Daten werden mit MySQL, Oracle oder anderen Datenbanksystemen gespeichert
- Damit nicht alles per Hand ausgeführt wird, werden Skripte erstellt, unter anderem mit Bash, Python und anderen Sprachen
- Für manche Anforderungen ist die Cloud eine gute Lösung, dafür nutzen wir dann AWS oder Azure
- Als Datenbanklösungen werden Lösungen wie MySQL oder Oracle genutzt
What We Expect
- Data protection and data security are a basic requirement for you when setting up and operating IT environments
- They have been supporting IT environments for at least five years
- IT is not a one-man show You can express yourself clearly and communicate (without stepping on anyone’s toes)
- System updates are a daily occurrence, so continuous training is a matter of course for you
- Exciting projects are not always in the immediate vicinity, so traveling is no problem for you
- Very good knowledge of German (at least C1), knowledge of English is an advantage
